Italian Language and Culture Course

Universtià Cattolica organizes mandatory Italian Language and Culture Courses, taught by a team of qualified and experienced native Italian speakers, designed for students who wish to learn, study and explore the Italian language.

The courses, which are free of charge are open to all international students enrolled at Università Cattolica. Courses start in October and March, before the beginning of the first and second semesters.

Two courses are divided in to two different levels:

  1. Absolute Beginners Courses: for students with almost no knowledge of Italian. The courses aim at giving basic competence in Italian to be used in typical situationsin everyday and university life, through classes as well as integrated project work
  2. Lower/Upper Intermediate Courses: for students who already possess elementary level knowledge of Italian. The courses consolidate and extend students' knowledge giving them more familiarity in dealing with typical situations in everyday and university life through classroom and multimedia laboratory lessons as well as integrated project work
